180 free recipes with public source videos and separately written Kitchen Monk™ SOS-free versions. These pages expand the shared Kitchen Monk / Flourishing Nursing library from 820 to 1,000 catalog entries. Catalog entries include source versions and demonstrations, not a verified count of unique dishes.

Original inspiration and public demonstrations: Jill Dalton / The Whole Food Plant Based Cooking Show, with original titles and source links retained for each recipe. Our instructions are independently written. The videos demonstrate the originals; ingredients, equipment, and methods may differ from our adaptations. No creator or institutional endorsement is implied.

All 180 adaptations are untested in a kitchen; nutrition calculations and dietitian review are pending. Source yields are reference information, not measured yields of these changed versions. Do not use the original nutrition panels for these versions. Adjust portions to the individual; no recipe is automatically suitable for every patient.

Video availability was checked through YouTube public oEmbed metadata on October 29, 2026. This confirms public metadata availability at that time, not full playback on every device or future availability. The videos and written source recipes were public when checked; no paid or member-only recipes were accessed.

Kitchen Monk™ SOS-free ingredient standard: Use nuts, seeds, nut butters, tofu, tempeh, yogurt, and nutritional yeast with no added salt, oil, or sugar. Use unsweetened plant milk with no added salt or oil; no-salt-added cooked beans, tomatoes, paste, and broth; pure salt-free spices; dried fruit without added sweetener or oil; and plain unsweetened coconut. Pasta, wrappers, and tortillas must also meet this standard. Do not add oil, pan spray, table salt, prepared salted sauces, or sweeteners.

To replace prepared mustard, mix 1 tablespoon plain ground mustard with 2 tablespoons water and use the listed amount. Whole-date paste means whole pitted dates blended with enough water to make a thick paste, not date syrup. Use whole-grain pasta where available. Read vinegar and spice ingredient labels for added salt or sweetener. Naturally occurring sugars, fats, and sodium remain.
