🤝 Find Support
👥 Join a Community
🏡 Ours: Lifestyle Medicine for ALL is Kitchen Monk’s free public Facebook group (a Facebook account is needed). Nurses and care-team members can also join our free Flourishing Nursing Forward group.
🌱 No group near you?
🏡 Use our shared request form (it lives on the Flourishing Nursing map page) to tell us where support is needed. With your consent, requests are counted anonymously on our maps; your name and email are never shown. It does not book a visit or start care. Please share only your city or ZIP code, never health details.
🌱 I’m getting started
Explore PBNM’s educational resources, then choose one practical step you can try this week. If you would like encouragement alongside learning, visit Plant Based Support’s beginner groups.
🤝 I want community
Find people who understand the everyday challenges of plant-based living. Our guide explains the free community group and how to check membership requirements for other activities.
👨👩👧 I’m supporting children
Parents, caregivers, educators, school food teams, and clinicians can explore 6 Million SEEDS and the Growing a Healthy Child podcast through the official program page.
🩺 For clinicians: introduce support in one minute
Ask permission: “Would it be helpful to explore a plant-based support community or family nutrition resource?”
Match the goal: peer connection → Plant Based Support; education → PBNM; children or schools → 6 Million SEEDS.
Offer a warm introduction: “These organizations offer education and community. Let’s choose one resource that fits your goals, schedule, and budget. You can review registration and access details directly with them.”
Close the loop: ask whether the patient found the resource useful at the next visit. Share the public page link; send patient information only through an authorized, appropriate clinical process.
❓ Before you join
Check the organizer’s current schedule, time zone, price, registration requirements, accessibility accommodations, and language options. Availability varies; a free trial is different from ongoing free access. You can ask the organization which option fits your needs.
Community education complements your care team. Membership does not establish medical care with Meryl or our websites. These independent organizations set their own programs and terms. Meryl Fury’s honorary title on our sites is proposed and pending her acceptance; featuring her work does not mean she or her organizations endorse Kitchen Monk™ or Flourishing Nursing.
🏃 A patient story from Nathanael: how custom-molded orthotics and steady stretching coaching got him running again after years of knee pain. Personal experience; individual results vary.
