🌱 6 Million SEEDS: Children, Families & Schools
🌱 Nourishing the next generation
6 Million SEEDS is a child-nutrition initiative of Plant Based Nutrition Movement, developed by Meryl Fury, MS, RN, who also hosts its Growing a Healthy Child podcast. SEEDS stands for Students Educated in Environment, Diet, and Sustainability.
Its school-based work and Growing a Healthy Child podcast connect children’s food education with the adults who shape meals at school and home. Parents, educators, school food teams, and clinicians can use the official program page to explore the project and podcast.
👨👩👧 A small step for your family or school
Explore one podcast conversation together. Choose one food-learning activity that fits your family, classroom, or community, then ask PBNM about current participation opportunities. The name describes the initiative’s vision; it is not a claim that six million children have already participated.
Program information: PBNM’s official 6 Million SEEDS page. For an individual child’s nutrition needs, work with their pediatric care team.
These are independent community and educational resources. Participation does not establish medical care with Meryl or our websites. Registration, accessibility, costs, and availability are set by each organization.
