American College of Lifestyle Medicine · Learning, connection, and everyday healthy living

Welcome to Kitchen 🪷 Monk™’s American College of Lifestyle Medicine resource guide. Explore official education, practical resources, videos, and the annual conference, then choose a next step that fits your interests and your life. We are grateful for everyone who brings curiosity, compassion, and a willingness to help our world heal and flourish.

🌿 Six areas for learning and reflection

ACLM’s six lifestyle medicine pillars address nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, social connection, and avoiding risky substances. These subjects can help us ask practical questions about daily routines, available support, and the next step a person feels ready to consider.

Kitchen Monk’s own Nine Gardens of Flourishing offer our community another way to organize learning: Nutrition, Movement, Sleep, Mindfulness, Relationships, Purpose, Community, Global Impact, and Faith & Compassion. We invite you to explore with kindness toward yourself and others.

🥷 Official Flourishing Nurse Ninja™ recognition

Flourishing Nursing™ recognizes anyone who completes both their LM2026 Online learning and INCA’s Lifestyle Nursing course requirements as an Official Flourishing Nurse Ninja™. We celebrate the commitment to continued learning, listening, compassionate service, and helping people flourish. Keep your conference participation records and INCA completion documentation.

This honorary recognition belongs to our independent Flourishing Nursing community. Use it alongside your actual professional role and credentials. It does not award nursing licensure, board certification, additional practice authority, or a credential from ACLM or INCA. Provider participation requirements and professional scope continue to apply.

🌍 Healthy communities and Blue Zones

The Blue Zones–ACLM partnership connects clinical lifestyle medicine with community well-being. That relationship encourages our own vision of nurses, nurse coaches, families, and neighbors helping put useful learning into everyday practice. Kitchen Monk and Flourishing Nursing share these resources independently; the official organizations speak for their own programs.

We also continue to recommend the National Health Association and other useful educational resources. Explore what fits your learning goals and circumstances.
