🔎 Honest status: none of these swaps has been formally kitchen-tested yet, so every one is marked “Suggested, not yet tested.” We chose them because they cook similarly, not because they look alike. Each recipe’s nutrition table is for the original version.

  • Soy: edamame and soy milk. Swap to chickpeas and a non-soy milk.
  • Tree nuts, peanuts, sesame: some dressings use nut butter. Use a seed butter you tolerate.
  • No suitable swap yet: if you avoid all beans, lentils, and soy, our current recipes don’t have a tested alternative. Please talk with a registered dietitian about protein sources that fit you.
