🪧 Trailhead: notice where you are

Take a breath. How are you today, honestly? Tired, hopeful, stretched thin, curious? Wherever you are is a fine place to start. There’s no “behind” on this trail.

1️⃣ Choose a Garden

Where would you like to begin? There is no required starting Garden. Choose wherever life is asking for attention.

2️⃣ Notice what is already growing

Before changing anything, look for what’s working. Maybe you already walk the dog, call your sister, or keep beans in the pantry. That counts. Tending starts with noticing.

3️⃣ Choose one small next step

What feels most possible right now?

4️⃣ Find support

No one walks this trail alone. A friend, a support group, a nurse, a dietitian, a counselor, or a faith community can all be trail companions. If you have a health condition or take medicines, check with your clinician before big changes.

5️⃣ Try, learn, and adjust

Some steps will fit your life. Some won’t, and that’s useful information, not failure. Keep what helps. Change what doesn’t.

6️⃣ Rest when needed

Every trail has rest stops. Not every season is a season of blooming. Some seasons are for rooting. Visit the Night Garden →

7️⃣ Return to the trail

Life will pull you off the path sometimes. The trail will still be here. Come back to the trailhead, notice where you are, and choose again.
