Flourishing Together: Free Shared Medical Appointments

Full Plate Living is a free program from the nonprofit Ardmore Institute of Health, which has promoted lifestyle change since 1947. It helps people add more whole, unprocessed, fiber-rich foods to meals they already eat: a small-step approach, not a purity test. Ardmore says it is ad-free with no hidden fees or upsells, and Full Plate Living is certified by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.

Shared medical appointments are at the heart of Kitchen Monk’s vision for Flourishing Nursing Forward™: care, education, and peer support in one room. Full Plate Living is one of the most practical ways for a clinic to start.

Where this fits the Flourishing Orchard: a nurse practitioner or physician leads the visit, a Nurse Coach (our Flourishing Care Connector™) helps patients carry the goals home, and community groups like Plant Based Support keep the encouragement going between visits.
