🔄 Make It the Kitchen Monk Way
No oil, and the only sweetener is date paste made from whole dates. Two ingredients carry salt:
| Ingredient | Kitchen Monk swap | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Dark miso or low-sodium tamari (1 Tbsp) | Leave out; add a squeeze of lime and a little extra garam masala (untested) | 🔧 Swap |
| Low-sodium vegetable broth (3 cups) | Use salt-free broth or water (untested) | 🔧 Swap |
| Date paste (1 Tbsp) | Whole dates blended with water are fine | As written |
| Canned chickpeas and tomato paste | Choose no-salt-added | Label check |
